Subject: FYI, this source has been fixed and remastered
I did the original transfer of the source DAT, and the source DAT had a channel inverted. Since then, I have fixed the original transfer, and Lenny has tweaked and re-released it.

Hopefully it will be up on the LMA soon! In the meantime, see the link for the active torrent.

Subject: Fun!
Hands down of the 40 shows I was at this was the best! Scarlet>Fire was out of control! Hey Jude>Mr. Fantasy>Hey Jude was a little sloppy but was a great surprise. Download this show! I have a pretty crappy VHS tape of the second set. Any help getting a decent quality DVD or VHS of the 22nd or 21st would be appreciated. Thanks.

Subject: my tape of this show is worn out..
thanks to listening to the scarlet>fire. specifically the transition from scarlet into fire is an uplifting journey through a carnival of sound. the boys take off with energy and speed out of scarlet...bob and jerry's interplay into fire is what this music is all about. thanks, dankseeds...above average audience recording in my opinion...very happy to have this digital.

If you were on this tour, Canada was a welcome relief from the American Gestapo. This was one of the best shows on the tour. I'm psyched to have this in my collection again. Yeah, Brent was super fucked up. He played the night before with a bottle of JD under the keys and god knows what he was on that night but WOW! One of the best Scarlet Fires I've ever seen. The second set is a must!

Location of SBD: http://web1.nugs.net/attics/frames.asp?page=/vault/show.asp&artist=1&show=62&cmd=shows

The version at nugets.net sounds better. Instruments sound like a SBD, but some vocals are low - Jerry's voice is very faint, but it doesn't sound so well anyway. His guitar is still there in force. Some really good versions of songs for this time period. Smoking "Fire" - pun intended.

Subject: nugets????
I keep going to "www.nugets.net" and am coming up empty...i keep clicking on the supposed "grateful dead" links and come up with a bulk of links for gd merchandising...WHERE ARE ALL THESE SOUNDBOARDS EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT FROM THIS SITE????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Subject: Love this show!
hey Jude is a God Awful but I think they were just having fun at that point. Maybe Brent thought he could pull it off and just then the drugs kicked in. How else can you forget the words to that song. Other than that and Paciss Moon... Hate that song!!! This show is just great. And yes... nugs.net has a better copy... dl it before it's gone if you know what I mean :)

Subject: where did the SBD go?
There used to be SBD's posted of both this and the 3/21/90 show. Where'd they go?

I was at both of these Copps shows, this was the better of the two. Lots of good stuff in the first set (BIODTL!), well-played throughout. The Scarlet/Fire has gotten lots of comment already, and it's definitely a super-hot version (though I like 9/4/91 too, which I was also at). It was nice to hear Believe it or Not again, which I assumed by that point had been retired. The Hey Jude was novel to hear, but since Brent blew just about every single lyric, it was painful.

Subject: Vibrant and delicious
Any show where Brent did Easy To Love You is okay by me anyday. My personal all-time favorite Hey Jude...straight from Brent's precious heart. Gorgeous.
Beat It On Down the Line.
It Must Have Been the Roses.
The Last Time.
I'd certainly spare my right arm for just one more show exactly like this.

Wasn't there, but have the 2nd set --Scarlet/Fire....etc...Man were you guys treated. If you get a good recording of this show---haven't heard a better one..there may be ones as good, doubt it, but none better. Remember the first time I heard that Scarlet/Fire...stopped everything...unbelievable. That crowd seemed great as well...What a treat.
